Stirling Albion make it into the League 1 Playoff final, ROB KERIGAN beat Annan Athletic 8–4 on aggregate.
The Binos were hoping to maintain the good form which saw them push up the table late in the season; hoping they can ride this form to promotionblackpool.
Stirling got off to a start in the first leg after Graham Weir lobbed the Annan keeper after just 12 minutes; Albion pushed on to get a second shortly after David Weatherston reacted quickly to slot away after a Jordan White flick on. Weatherston scored again just 3 minutes later when he scored after from a Craig Comrie cross.
3-0 up after 30 minutes, Stirling had more chances that could have put the game to bed, include chances for Comrieblackpool and Weir. However it was Annan that scored to raise the hopes of keeping the ties alive when Annan top scorer Kenny MacKay scored at the 70 minute mark.
Stirling went into the second leg with a great chance of making the playoff finals, and away at Annan, Sblackpooltirling came out victors of a high scoring game a hat-trick from Jordan White as well as goals from McClune and Comrie saw Stirling sail into the finals.
Stirling will now be playing East Fife, who beat Clyde in the other semi finals, in the final of the playoffs, Stirling are the form team going into the finals winning 5 of their last 7 games.
Stirling will be playing East Fife over two legs in the playoff final, the games are at thblackpoole Forthbank stadium on Wednesday 14th May evening 7:45 (£7 tickets for students), the return leg will be away on Saturday 18th May.
